THESE TERM AND CONDITIUONS STATE IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS REGARDING YOUR USE OF MACROFIX WEBSITE AND MACRIFIX'S COMPUTER SUPPORT SERVICE AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MACROFIX. IF YOU ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT, IT WILL APPLY TO ALL YOUR SERVICE PLANS FROM US, INCLUDING ALL YOUR EXISTING PLANS.

Macrofix reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

 

Violation of any of the terms and conditions below and other in our website will result in the termination of your Account or suspension of their subscription and associated service. macrofix shall exercise its right to terminate or suspend service solely at its own discretion, without consulting the customer. Macrofix.com shall incur no liability resulting from terminating or suspending service upon breach by a customer.

 

At any part in this document, if mentioned macrofix.com and macrofix technical services, they mean same and they are collectively called as macrofix.

 

Certain terms defined in these Terms and Conditions are also used in the Privacy Policy and are incorporated by reference to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Description of the macrofix.com Service

 

Macrofix technical services(macrofix.com) provides technical remote support for specific computers, peripherals, software, and any other computer-related. macrofix.com charges customers fixing issues and provide unlimited annual technical support for issues of its scope.

 

Macrofix customers obtain technical support from macrofix Support Engineers (SEs) by contacting them through via the phone. macrofix.com only offers remote technical support. Onsite service is not included in the Macrofix.com offering.

 

Macrofix offers its customers the option of Remote Computer Control, where a SE can, with the customer’s permission, take over the customer’s computer from the SE’s remote location. By accepting these Terms and Conditions of Usage, customer acknowledges that they are aware that they will, on occasion, be offered the Remote Computer Control option. Macrofix SEs are not allowed to use Remote Computer Control without the explicit consent of the customer.

 

Macrofix will use reasonable effort to provide the customer with technical support, for as long as the customer’s account is current and not in arrears. Macrofix reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

 

Scope of Support

 

Macrofix provides technical support for popular computers, peripherals, and software. Specific products supported are described on the macrofix website, www.macrofix.com, and are subject to change. Customer acknowledges that due to the rapidly changing nature of technology, macrofix.com cannot be held responsible for supporting every computer-related product in the market. macrofix will clearly indicate which products or product lines are supported on its web site. macrofix can, at its own sole discretion, decide to provide technical support for a product not listed on the web site. In this case, macrofix warrants support only for the specific problem instance and does not warrant that it will continue to support such unlisted product beyond the single specific instance described above.

 

Terms and Conditions of Service

 

You must be above 13 years to use this Service.

 

Your account must be used only by one person – a single account is limited for use by only the defined PC in the agreement. You will have to purchase support for additional PCs if so required.

 

Macrofix would provide services only for the issues that has been explicitly mentioned in our website. For all other issues we would not be liable to provide services.

 

Our services are available through on call only. Onsite service is not included as a mode of providing service.

 

By agreeing to these terms and services you agree that macrofix is not liable to provide any support for Hardware related issues of your PC, Servers, Printers, Router, Wireless Access Device or any other issues.

 

We do not provide any replacement or stand by on any computer part that has malfunctioned We do not provide any warranty on hardware and software that is covered under the support plan

 

Macrofix cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation, Its Your responsible for maintaining the security of your PC including username and password..

 

You are requested not to share your computer username and password with the support professional at any time, if this is accidentally shared, please change the password immediately.

 

Macrofix cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your data theft from your PC in this scenario.

 

In all remote access sessions you are requested to constantly monitor the session when the person is on phone with you, we would not request any remote session with you without any live person talking to you at the same time. In case you get a remote session without a live person on call you are requested to not accept the request, at no time Macrofix would be responsible for any data theft that occurs due to unattended remote session.

 

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

 

All your action and interactions with us on computer support issues should comply with the cyber laws of India and or your country of residence.

 

13. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any macrofix customer, employee, member, or officer will result in immediate account termination.

 

Usage of Products/Services from Third Parties

 

macrofix.com provides products and services from third parties as part of its service. These third party products and services are covered by their respective publishers/owners. macrofix.com does not guarantee the usability or merchantability of such services. Customer acknowledges that macrofix.com is providing them as a potential benefit to the customer.

 

No Assurance of Problem Resolution

 

We at Macrofix will use reasonable effort to resolve the customer’s problem. However, the complexity of technology will inevitably result in macrofix being unable to resolve certain customer problems. Customer acknowledges that they are aware of this limitation and by subscribing to the macrofix service have indicated acceptance of the No Assurance of Problem Resolution section of the macrofix Terms and Conditions of Usage.

 

Notwithstanding such limitation, macrofix does not guarantee problem resolution to any customer problem. macrofix will only exercise reasonable effort to resolve said customer’s technical problem.

 

Refunds Policy

 

For subscription based plans, a full refund will be issued if MACROFIX has not been able to resolve even a single issue for you within the first 30 days of the subscription. If there are one or more resolved issues, the fees for the Subscription Service will not be refundable. Notwithstanding this MACROFIX may, at its sole discretion and on a case by case basis, agree to a refund of Subscription fees after deducting charges for servicing the Customer. For incident based plans, you will be eligible for refund when any of the following criterions are met:

 

1. You have all the prerequisites which were required to resolve the problem and Issue was not resolved till the time account was active.

 

2. The issue is out of scope for the particular plan

 

3. 15 days have not passed after the issue was last worked upon by an MACROFIX technician

 

Copyright and Content Ownership

 

Any data that you share with us would be the intellectual property of your or third-party from which you have sourced the content, macrofix would not own any rights to such issues.

 

Any queries or resolutions that you post on our forums would become our property.

 

Macrofix reserves the rights to remove any content posted on our website it deems inappropriate without assigning any reason.

 

macrofix.com owns all rights to the Service and associated material, including the macrofix.com web site. Any unauthorized use of macrofix.com property is a violation of macrofix.com intellectual property rights.

 

Disclaimer

 

macrofix does not warrant that the service is free of errors or mistakes.macrofix.com doesn’t warrant or represent that the service shall be available continuously. Certain extenuating circumstances may cause the service to be interrupted. macrofix.com provides no remedies for such service interruptions. In addition, macrofix.com provides no remedies for any loss of data resulting from use of the service. By subscribing to the service, customer acknowledges that they accept these disclaimers.

 

General information

 

"macrofix Certified Technician means" technicians and specialists certified by macrofix to perform the Services under this Agreement.

 

No director, officer, or employee of macrofix.com shall be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from use of the service. Customer agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and release macrofix.com from any damages, attorney’s fees, and costs resulting from use of the service.

 

Technical support is only provided to paying account holders and is only available through call.

 

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
