Build marketing workflows around reliable audience data, useful content and clear customer preferences. Macrofix helps you assess Salesforce Marketing Cloud products, design campaigns and journeys, connect agreed data sources, test delivery paths and prepare your team to operate them.
A campaign is more than a message template. It needs a defined audience, reliable identifiers, entry and exit rules, content approval and a way to measure what happened. When those decisions are unclear, automation can scale the wrong behavior as easily as the right one.
Macrofix scopes Marketing Cloud implementation and improvement around your products, audiences, channels and marketing operations. We separate platform fit, data preparation, build, testing and launch approval so your team can review the decisions before customer-facing activity begins.
Choose the Salesforce marketing products that fit your workflow before planning the build. A project can cover audience design, data setup, approved content and automation, selected CRM connections, testing, reporting and enablement. Licensing, channel provisioning and optional AI are confirmed separately, not assumed to be part of every subscription.
Assess your current marketing stack, campaign types, sales handoffs and required channels. Salesforce distinguishes Marketing Cloud Next, Account Engagement and Engagement. Their data objects and automation tools differ: Flow Builder, Engagement Studio and Journey Builder are not interchangeable.
We help define which product or combination supports the agreed use cases, what can remain in place and what needs migration or integration. Account Engagement is the former Pardot product; a new name or a portfolio feature does not mean all existing campaigns should be rebuilt.
Define audience identifiers, source systems, attributes and ownership before importing or synchronizing records. Document how duplicates, missing preferences, invalid addresses and conflicting updates will be handled. Build selected segments using the data model and tools of the product being implemented.
Your team supplies the approved consent, preference, retention and suppression policies. We translate agreed rules into configuration and test scenarios, with restricted data access and clear exceptions. An imported contact record is not treated as automatic permission to send a campaign.
Design the campaign journey around a specific customer need: onboarding, nurturing, renewal or another approved use case. Agree eligibility, entry, branching, wait, exit and re-entry behavior before building. Create reusable content with defined approval and personalization fallbacks, then document the automation owner.
Tooling follows the chosen product. Engagement journeys, Account Engagement programs and Marketing Cloud Next flows need their own design and testing approach. Customer-facing messages and production activation require approval; an AI-generated draft is not a completed content review.
Map selected CRM and external data flows, including identifiers, fields, refresh expectations and the system that owns each value. Agree interface access, errors, retries and reconciliation with responsible teams. Review existing connections before adding new ones.
For Engagement, Salesforce synchronized-data guidance states that a synchronized source cannot be the primary sendable data extension. We distinguish source synchronization from audience preparation and validate the selected design. Compatibility, freshness and API limits need assessment; universal real-time sync is not promised.
Test audience selection, personalization fallbacks, preferences, exclusions and connected handoffs with controlled examples. Define reporting measures and tracking boundaries before launch. Campaign performance depends on audience quality, offers, content and operating decisions as well as configuration.
Salesforce Journey Builder testing can simulate paths without sends for data-extension entry sources, but ignores wait times and contact-entry settings. We record those limits and agree additional checks; a simulated path alone is not proof that a production campaign is ready. Training and handover use your agreed campaign operations.
Prepare a blueprint with product choice, audience model, data flows, preferences, campaign logic, content responsibilities, measurement and acceptance scenarios. Include channel and license dependencies, test coverage, exclusions and a customer-owned launch decision. Start with a reviewable use case before expanding the roadmap.
Your organization retains audience policy, content and send approval. We scope access to the data needed, validate exclusions and agree who can publish or activate campaigns. This implementation service does not provide legal certification or guarantee deliverability, engagement or revenue.
Subscriptions, channel providers, message usage and optional AI may carry separate requirements and costs. An AI use case needs approved data sources, permitted actions, evaluation and human review. No live campaign is launched simply because a workflow can be activated.
Discover product fit and marketing operations, validate the audience and campaign design, then build in reviewable increments. Rehearse selected data flows, test normal and exception behavior, prepare reporting and train operators. Complete the agreed readiness review before a customer-approved launch; ongoing operations can be scoped separately.
Acceptance should show who qualifies for the campaign, who is excluded, what content appears and how data moves between systems. Include missing values, duplicate candidates, opted-out examples, failed interfaces and repeat-entry scenarios. Record simulation limits, unresolved issues and named release owners instead of treating a successful preview as complete evidence.
We can assess Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, formerly Pardot, and Marketing Cloud Next against your use cases and current environment. Their data models and automation tools differ. We confirm the products, editions and delivery scope before configuration.
The agreed scope can cover product fit, audience and data design, customer-approved preferences and exclusions, campaign logic, content, selected integrations, testing, reporting and team enablement. Licenses, messaging channels, optional AI and ongoing operations are identified separately.
We can assess selected connections and scope the required fields, identifiers, data ownership, refresh expectations, permissions and error handling. Native connectors and external APIs have product-specific prerequisites and limits. Synchronizing source data is not the same as preparing an approved campaign audience.
We can implement and test rules based on policies your authorized team approves. This includes agreed preference sources, suppression conditions and exception handling. The service is not legal advice or compliance certification, and importing a record does not automatically authorize a send.
Not by itself. For data-extension entry sources, testing can simulate paths without sending messages, but it ignores wait times and contact-entry settings. We document coverage limits and agree additional checks for audience eligibility, exclusions, content, data handoffs and launch readiness.
No. Products, add-ons, channel providers and usage costs can have separate requirements. AI needs its own data, action and review boundaries. We scope deliverables and acceptance after discovery; deliverability, conversions and revenue depend on factors beyond configuration and are not guaranteed.
