A cloud subscription proposal is only one part of an ERP transformation. Macrofix helps existing SAP customers assess their starting point, clarify the RISE with SAP scope and build a coordinated delivery roadmap. Bring process owners, IT teams and suppliers into the same plan before committing to milestones.
RISE with SAP is SAP’s transformation path for on-premises SAP ERP customers moving toward SAP Cloud ERP Private. This page describes Macrofix consulting and project-planning services around that journey, not SAP’s complete offering or a promise that every tool and capability is included.
We connect the customer’s business priorities to an evidence-based roadmap, with scope boundaries, dependencies, decision owners and delivery assumptions stated explicitly.
Our consulting scope can cover landscape assessment, business-case assumptions, proposal and responsibility review, clean-core priorities, delivery governance and adoption readiness. The result is a coordinated plan for the next decision. Technical deployment details belong in our SAP S/4HANA cloud deployment services; build and transition work require separately agreed scopes.
See all SAP S/4HANA services for the wider ERP lifecycle.
Review current SAP products and releases, business processes, entities, integrations, custom developments and operational constraints. Document the objectives and measurable decision criteria. A business case should distinguish evidenced costs and benefits from assumptions; advertised customer results are not a forecast for your organization.
Translate the proposed product and service descriptions into a scope matrix. Identify included services, optional items, customer tasks, delivery partners, dependencies and unanswered questions. Record where subscription terms, infrastructure responsibilities and project statements of work need supplier or customer clarification. Legal and procurement decisions stay with authorized reviewers.
Inventory process variations, custom code, interfaces, data quality concerns and upgrade-sensitive dependencies. Prioritize what to assess for standardization, remediation, retention or extension. Clean-core planning requires technical evidence and business decisions; it is not an instruction to remove every customization or an assurance that every extension can move unchanged.
Connect business process design, technical readiness, data, integrations, security, testing, rollout and provider coordination in one governance view. Define accountable owners, dependencies, issue escalation and decision gates. Track acceptance for each workstream rather than treating the purchase or system provisioning date as business go-live.
Plan training, process ownership, administrator readiness and the transition from project teams to operations. Agree who maintains test coverage, reviews releases, owns interfaces and handles application incidents. Preparation can connect separately scoped implementation, data migration and support engagements.
The roadmap can include a starting-point assessment, transformation objectives, scope and responsibility matrix, prioritized dependency backlog, workstream plan, decision log and readiness criteria. Open questions remain assigned to owners. This provides a basis for an implementation statement of work, not a substitute for the SAP agreement or a completed migration.
Identify the contractual supplier and responsible operator for each subscribed service, and distinguish their obligations from Macrofix project deliverables and customer-owned tasks. Confirm actual product scope, entitlements, regions, service levels, change rules and exclusions in the applicable documents.
Macrofix does not assume authority to resell subscriptions, accept agreements for the customer or perform provider-only operations. Tools, AI capabilities, migration incentives and other benefits are included only when confirmed in the relevant offer. Assessment recommendations do not authorize production changes.
Assess the starting point, align business objectives, review the proposed scope, prioritize dependencies and define a phased roadmap. Validate critical assumptions with the responsible parties, then present the readiness findings and open decisions. The customer authorizes commercial commitments and the next delivery phase through its own approval process.
A useful planning engagement finishes with documented choices and testable next steps: confirmed decision criteria, scoped workstreams, supplier clarifications, dependency owners, adoption needs and approval gates. Unresolved compatibility or commercial questions should be visible. Implementation acceptance, migration reconciliation and business go-live remain later, separately evidenced decisions.
