Keep NetSuite useful after go-live with a defined operating model. Macrofix helps scope ongoing account administration, incident coordination, recurring checks, controlled changes and service reviews so your team knows what is covered and who owns the next action.
A working account still needs operational ownership as users, workflows and connected systems change. Define covered entities, roles, customizations and interfaces; agree how requests enter the service and who can approve changes.
Managed services organize recurring delivery, not just individual fixes. Our NetSuite support services cover scoped incident investigation; implementation covers a new rollout. Explore the broader managed services overview for cross-application needs.
Build the service catalogue around your actual account rather than a generic promise to manage everything. Select the activities, cadence, access, evidence and exclusions that your business needs, then record them in the service agreement.
Coverage hours, response targets, review frequency and included change capacity are contractual choices. This page does not include unlimited development, guaranteed uptime, fixed resolution times or automatic round-the-clock monitoring.
Coordinate approved user and role requests, configuration housekeeping and periodic access reviews within the agreed scope. Your business owner authorizes access; the service team documents implementation and review evidence. Avoid shared credentials and unrestricted administrator access as a default operating model.
Use an agreed intake channel to record business impact, priority, ownership and next actions. Separate incidents from service requests and enhancement work. Track unresolved dependencies and coordinate escalation to Oracle or a connector provider where the issue falls outside the application service boundary.
Define recurring checks for relevant interfaces, scheduled scripts, data exceptions and account performance. Decide which signals are available, when they are reviewed and who responds to findings. Scheduled review is not the same as continuous monitoring.
Oracle’s account health guidance includes data audits, role reviews, script usage and performance checks. We select an account-specific checklist and follow-up process; tool access and data coverage must be confirmed.
Manage a change backlog with named approvers, risk assessment and testing evidence. Separate a small configuration adjustment from a new extension or connector redesign, linking larger work to customization and integration services.
Plan business-process regression checks for relevant platform releases. Oracle’s release preparation guidance recommends Release Preview testing. Confirm available environments and dependencies; Oracle controls platform release delivery.
Review request trends, recurring incidents, completed changes, open risks and backlog priorities at an agreed cadence. Report the service evidence that matters to your business, including overdue dependencies and accepted limitations, rather than treating ticket counts as proof of improved business performance.
Before ongoing delivery begins, collect the account inventory, key processes, customizations, integration owners, known issues, runbooks and authorized contacts. Review documentation gaps and test the intake and escalation arrangements. Do not assume that inheriting account access means every legacy customization is understood or supported.
Define responsibility across the customer, Macrofix, Oracle NetSuite and third-party providers. Oracle hosting and vendor support are separate from an application managed-services agreement. Licensing, vendor entitlement, data ownership and business approvals remain explicit dependencies.
Document how changes and investigations will be evidenced. NetSuite System Notes and System Notes v2 provide different audit capabilities and record coverage. Available history does not replace approved change records, access controls or an account-specific retention plan.
Assess operational readiness, agree the service catalogue and complete a controlled transition. Establish recurring checks and request handling, then review the service against agreed evidence and priorities. Changes to scope, capacity or coverage are recorded rather than silently absorbed into the service.
Accept the service using a documented inventory, responsibility matrix, tested intake route, runbooks and an initial review pack. Agree how work will be handed back or transferred if the service ends, including documentation, open issues and access removal by authorized owners.
Incident support investigates a defined issue. Managed services establish recurring delivery around an agreed catalogue, such as account checks, request coordination, approved administration and service reviews. Incident investigation can form part of that catalogue, with coverage and limits stated in the agreement.
A transition can be scoped after reviewing the account, customizations, integrations, documentation and known issues. We identify readiness gaps and agree responsibilities before accepting ongoing delivery; inherited access does not mean every legacy component is automatically covered.
No. Oracle NetSuite hosting, licensing and vendor support entitlements are separate. The managed-services agreement defines Macrofix application activities and how the customer, Oracle and third-party providers coordinate when an issue crosses those boundaries.
Do not assume continuous monitoring or 24/7 coverage. Agree the available signals, review cadence, coverage hours, response targets, escalation routes and alert ownership in writing. Scheduled operational checks and continuous monitoring are different service choices.
Included change capacity and exclusions must be agreed. Small approved adjustments may fit the service catalogue, while new features, major customizations, integration redesign and large data repairs may require a separate project with its own scope and acceptance criteria.
Agree an exit plan that covers runbooks, completed and open changes, unresolved incidents, provider contacts and remaining risks. Authorized account owners remove or transfer access through a controlled process. Contractual data retention and handover responsibilities should be defined before service begins.
